Does anyone else find ‘visual statements’ cheesy, naff, simplistic unoriginal lame wastes of space?
That’s one of the only things I don’t like about tumblr. These bastardized pseudo art, pseudo philosophical statements…
At least the creators are thinking though.
I have Industrial as a tag, because I love looking at Industrial things such as factories and hardware. I like that aesthetic most of all in architecture. But a third of the posts under that tag are 18yo girls with ‘Industrial’ ear piercings, saying it hurts or they love it SO much. (A third is actually what I’m looking for, and the last 3rd is Industrial music)
I don’t really understand why they post things like that on here…isn’t facebook better for personal stuff? I associate this website with cool pictures. If I click on one of these peoples blogs, I see posts such as “I’m really tired today, went to bed 4am, I think I’ll sleep all day”
Just don’t understand…
